DESCRIPTION:Washington Post Foreign Editor Douglas Jehl will discuss coverage of hot spots in the Muslim world as the keynote speaker at an event on coverage of the Middle East from 6:30pm to 8:30pm Tuesday, Dec. 14, in the First Amendment Lounge. The evening also will include a panel discussion, “Teaming Up: How Joint Reporting Projects are Enriching Coverage of the Middle East,”  featuring Ruth Eglash, social affairs reporter for The Jerusalem Post, and Hani Hazaimeh, senior reporter for the Jordan Times. They paired up in a project run by the ICFJ designed to bring more perspective and sophistication to coverage in the Middle East.The event is co-sponsored by the International Correspondents Committee and the International Center for Journalists.
